I am looking for a photographer for our AHR in July 2011. Does anyone know of a reasonably priced one for less than $1000? I only need about 5 hours of coverage and just want the pictures on CD with copyright release. We're having our reception in Dartmouth. All the ones I seem to find start at $3000! TIA

Try http://www.kharberphoto.com/. She's about $1400 and she did an amazing job for the price.

He may be just slightly over the $1k mark for what you are looking for, but our budget is under $3k for pictures, and he is giving us a great package.  I bet he could pare it down a little if all you want is the DVD and someone to take photos.  He was really flexible with our budget.

Matt Bramlett Photography - I believe his packages are still under 1,000. Worth inquiring as his work is really good. He is relatively new so he might be flexible. Another person I recommend is Thara Ros. He's young but definitely talented and his most basic package is $850 which includes prints plus 8 hrs of coverage and the DVD of all photos retouch. If you want to see the weddings he's done, inquire for private viewing.

I haven't had my wedding yet (a little under four months to go...ack!), but I booked Mark Turek and Anne Harrigan at Anne's suggestion. We absolutely fell in love with their work and they're great people to work with! We booked them as soon as we possible could as they were a perfect fit for us.

Another option - A Bride's Day Photography out of Cumberland. We met with Manny and he offers many different types of packages.
