Places to Stay/Narragansett

Hello-

I'm interested in having my wedding at the North Beach Clubhouse, but we have many out of town guests, with children, who would most likely make the trip into a bit of a summer vacation. Any recommendations on places to stay that would make sense in or around Narragansett?

    i know a lot of people stay at the hampton inn which is in south kingstown - so a little far from the beach club, but there is also the village inn and atlantic inn or house - can't remember which that is close as well.
    there isn't a lot of places to stay in that area but hopefully this helps! there are other narr. brides on here that might have a better idea :)

    You could rent a house for a week if folks are thinking of making it a family vacations. Also I've heard that a lot of town guests tend to stay near the airport. It's really not far and there is more of a selection of hotels so the prices are a little more competative.

    There is also the Holiday Inn in South Kingstown.  That is where we have blocked rooms for our Narragansett wedding guests.

    we have rooms blocked at the hampton inn, but its a bit pricey. The Village inn and the Atlantic house are also there. The villiage inn has a two night minimum and is really pricey.
    Depending on how many people, we LOVED the Tower House B+B. It just didn't work for what we needed, but there are liek 6 or 7 rooms thee and you get breakfast and drives to the beach etc.
    It is adorable, it had cute gardens etc.

    WE also blocked rooms at the holiday inn. Its a bit older but it was less expensive than the hampton inn.

    WE are offering shuttle service to our guests from the hotels, since they aren't close ot the Towers.

    None of our guests are staying at the Village Inn. IMO its VERY tired and over priced.
    One guets is stating at the atlantic house and got a place for 140$ a night.

    Other guests are using durkin cottages. It was less expensive for them to rent a house for an entire week than a hotel for 3 days.

    You guys are the best! Thank you for all of the info! I'll definitely look into all of the hotel suggestions.

    I don't know Narragansett very well (my fiance's family is from buenos aires & NYC and my family is from Boston and we're trying to figure out something in the middle) but is there a cottage or rental house community that we could tap into?

    We used Durkin Cottages and our guests raved about it-  we wound up having about 9 houses get rented including our house which was for us and our bridal party.  For a holiday weekend (we were memorial day) it was MUCH more economical.  We also had the same situation with a lot of family members turnign into a mini vacay.  For us, it worked out that we could stay for three days for under what it would have cost for one night at the Hoilday Inn where we had a room block for those who preferred a hotel.  Other options includ the Hamilton Village Inn which we toured and was lovely.

    We blocked the Holiday Inn South Kingstown- it was a great price compared to the Hampton Inn!

     Shepherd’s Inn its located in Narragesett, RI. Few of my bridal party is staying there. Its reasonable price place in Narragesett and South County area. They are very nice and helpful. Only ran into one mix but it was taken care of.
