who has used Lukes DJ?

I have been requesting info from a bunch of DJ's and Luke's hasn't given me a quote yet.  They want to meet in person first.  I can meet with them next week, but don't really want to bother if they're out of my price range.

I requested 4 hours of DJ, not much else in terms of bells and whistles.  Possibly looking to add a lighting package depending on the price.

Does anyone mind sharing how much their quote was?

    I got a quote from them for around $1700. I can't remember what that included but I'm pretty sure the standard DJ package and no lighting or anything.

    That was back in 2010 so it might be more now.

    He did my friends wedding in July and I thought he did a really nice job.
    We ended up going with Victor but just because victor put in sooo much service for us on the front end of things that I didnt even end up meeting Luke.

    I want to spend $1200 max for DJ.

    Luke did quote me for less for a Friday night wedding but it was still about $1500.

    OH ya, Sorry I didn't mention that was for a Saturday night.

    Try Dave Anthony- he was our 2nd choice,and he's $250 an hr.
    I really thought he was super nice and really talented.
    He DJ'd my wedding coordinators wedding. (He Dose Ormande Production weddings)

    Other than that, I would try Music Mixers they gave me a quote for 875.00
    I am pretty sure this was a personal discount because my mom knows their dad... but at any rate- I think they are probably around $1000.

    I second the recommendation for Jason at Music Machine DJs.  His packages are reasonably priced and he has lighting packages which are the cheapest I've seen.  We're using him and getting lighting and 6hrs of service (free setup and breakdown) for about $1300.

    I highly recommend DJ Jason Mello.  He's DJ'd a few parties I have been to and I knew I wanted him to DJ my wedding.  He's doing my wedding shower as well. He is very easy to work with and wants to make sure your day is exactly how you want it.  His prices are very good and much more reasonable then a lot of DJ's out there.  He starts at $650 for 6 hours.

    DJ Norday also comes in under $1000, at least he was when we booked last year.
