North Beach Clubhouse/Canochet Club in Narragansett

Hi, has anyone gotten married there?  My reception is there in August and I'm wondering how to decorate it.  I'd love to see photos of other weddings there, how other brides have used the space, dressed it up, lighting, how many tables, how you decorated the deck, what to do with the ceiling.  That's my least favorite part about it.  I don't like that ceiling.  Things like that!  So, if anyone has had any experience there, I would love to hear from you!  Thanks so much!

    How many people does that venue hold?  I just left a message for them on Friday and waiting to hear back.

    100 people.  So, it's good for a smallish wedding.  There are 16 round tables and a few longer rectangular ones and about 100 chairs there.  The chairs are pretty ugly folding ones so i'm renting some simple white chairs through my caterer... Amalfi is doing the catering, they're located literally right down the road at the village inn and have done a lot of weddings there before.  I've been inside, it's simple, but the view is fantastic.  I'm dying to see photos of what it looks like decorated, but they don't seem to be anywhere.  When are you getting married?

    I was thinking of using it for a rehearsal dinner/clambake style.  wedding is in September at my parents house.

    We are using the North Beach Clubhouse for our Rehearsal Dinner as well.  The view is Amazing!  I haven't been able to find ANY pictures online though.  I live locally though and have been there for numerous parties, so I know what it looks like already.
    I think you can snazz it up with your linen colors/florists, as well as lots of prtty candles or lights- I was there for a party one time where they had christmas lights everywhere and it was beautiful!

    I am thinking about getting married here too. I'd love to see some pictures if anyone has any.  Also, I wanted to do a clambake but in the rules it says no clambakes on the beach... is there a way around that?

    I am also looking for pictures of the north beach clubhouse. I am getting married there in  Septemeber and cant find any pictures of it. If anyone has any with the place all dressed up please let me know.
