italian vocalist-help needed

Has anyone ever heard of an excellent italian vocalist? Someone who sings beautifully in songs like Andrea Boccelli, etc during either cocktail hour/reception/ or both.  I cant seem to find anyone so I would love some help!!!

You should reach out to local colleges and universities. A lot of students there are studying classical opera, and are being trained to sing the type of music that Bocelli sings.  They may be willing to perform for you at a lower cost than professional musicians.

This. Most colleges/universities would have a voice teacher on staff or in connection with the school- some that specialize in classical. If you talk to that person specifically they could direct you to someone they have taught currently or previously, or just someone they know is excellent. Keep in mind, the vocalist will need to have someone accompany them as well. If you find a good accompanyist then they are sure to know some talented vocalists.
