Band Cost

Good morning,
I was wondering what a reasonable price is for a band? I just started inquiring and received one quote of $4800 which sounded high to me.  Thanks in advance :-)

    That's just about what we're paying. It depends who the band is, how many members it has, how well known they are, etc. I was quoted anywhere from $4,000 to $9,000!

    $4800 is very good.  The cost for a band is anywhere from 5K-10K pending size, etc.  Check out Cover to Cover, they are very reasonable and EXCELLENT!  They played at my wedding last month and my guest are still talking about it!

    I spent 3500 on my band and they were amazing!...just shop around....and ask if they give discounts if its an offseason wedding or a day other than saturday...

    we paid 5250 and that was a discounted rate as we had a friday night wedding...they are normall around 6500 or higher. we used kahootz out of boston and they were phenomenal. we're still getting raves about how good they were. 

    for a good band i'd agree with what others are saying...you're looking at 4K plus. good luck!
