Sayles Livingston-A I did my best to stay within budget and Sayles was very accomodating when it came to keeping the budget down. She is known for being on the more expensive side but when I saw her website--I knew I loved her style the most. I was very happy with the flowers--they were simple but classic looking--I made the bouts myself to save money(wheat bouts) and bought the hurricane lamps myself and had Sayles build arrangements around them(this cut down on some of the cost) If you choose flowers in season--it can help keep costs down--also--I chose large arrangements of baby's breath for the altar--an inexpensive filler flower--but really beautiful all by itself.
Music Mixers DJ-A I met Seann at a wedding show at the towers and was impressed with how professional he was. Seann did a great job the entire reception--he personalized it, playing many of the songs we had requested--but also was great at adlibbing and keeping the dance floor chock full.
Vista Print-A+ I can't believe how inexpensive this site is--I did all the save the date cards and thank you notes through VistaPrint--sign up with your email address and you'll start getting coupons for free stuff!
Etsy-I love this website for personalizing your wedding--I was able to order handkerchiefs with a funny quote on them for my m om and sister, Father of the Bride socks for my dad and Bruce Springsteen cufflinks for my husband--there are so many great sellers--if you have yet to visit Etsy--I love the website.
Robin McAloon-A+ she is not only amazing at what she does--but she is so calm and relaxed day of--very down to earth and really wants you to be happy with your makeup. She is most known for creating a natural look for brides--totally recommend.
VIllage Inn-C probably my only bad experience--really unhappy with the rooms--in fact some of my guests requested different rooms as they were not happy with theirs! felt like the customer service was horrible--had to keep calling initially to get someone to call me back-when i called about OOT bags I was told they "couldn't find my wedding", overall--i was really unhappy with the VIllage Inn as a place to book a room block. Of course, the location can't be beat--so many guests just walked from the CGuard House(post wedding party) to the VIllage Inn--definitely convenient--but that's about it.
Sewing Creations by Rose-Rose is a sweetheart! and really worked with me to make sure I was happy with my dress..she is very reasonable and extremely easy to work with. She altered my mom and sister's dress too--we had such a blast working with her!
