RD at the Mooring?

Hi ladies.  I'm pretty sure we're going to have our rehearsal dinner in the private harborview room at the Mooring.  FI and I ate there last night and both the food and service were great.  Has anyone had their RD there or been to an RD there??  I'd love to know how they handle big groups before we make the final decsion.  TIA!!

We had ours there this past July. The food was great, the staff was very attentive. We worked with Adrienne and she was very easy to work with. She didn't care that we wanted different meals from the different price groups. You wouldn't have known that the restaurant that night was full with an hour wait. They really did a great job with our RD. 

The only thing I would say is be cautious about is the size of your group. We had 37 people and felt that the room was a little too small, even though they say they can fit 40-45 people. Not every person went on the deck for cocktails, and we still had a tough time moving around. The room was tight too with everyone sitting... but all my group cared about was the drinks and food and they did that wonderfully!

We didnt have a large group event there but we had a family dinner there two nights before our wedding with 10 people.  Everything was wonderful!  My husband and I go there all the time in the summer and we have never had a bad meal or bad service.  I would expect nothing less from them for a bigger group event.

Oh, one last thing... It looks like you're getting married in the summer. Think about transportation for your guests. There was no parking available in their lot or anywhere for that matter. We panicked a few days before and got a trolly to take everyone.

The Mooring is gorgeous!  I don't think there's a ton of space, but the food is terrific, and the service is top notch!
