Justice of the Peace

Hi Everyone!

I am looking for some help with finding an officiant or justice of the peace for my wedding next June in Jamestown, RI.  I have all of my other major venodrs booked, but for some reason I have been really struggling here.

We are not looking to have a religous ceremony.  Just something nice, elegant and short.  Any suggestions or reviews would be extremely appreciated.  Thank you all!

    We're having a former Judge officiate the ceremony in June. The ladies at our town hall recommended him and he's been very helpful. Send me a message if you want his contact details!

    We've booked Peter Rosedale ( http://www.justiceofthepeace-rhodeisland.com ), he's been very pleasant to work with, and his sample ceremonies are very nice, secular, and brief. I'd definitely recommend him!

    We used Mike Egan for our September wedding last year.. he was incredible! his website is heavenlyweddings.com. not sure what you're looking to spend, but he charged us $300.. he may have gone up since then.

    Try Steve Earle - he takes the time to personalize your wedding, and puts a lot of thought and effort into what he says.  His email is Maskerchugg@yahoo.com (the Maskerchugg is a river that runs through his backyard in East Greenwich....I thought it was a weird name until I asked :) )
    We were incredibly pleased with the ceremony.  Both my husband and I are not religious, so he carefully choose his words.

    Our mother in law saw him at a wedding last summer and said he was the best she'd seen at a wedding - very laid back, but professional.  We spoke with him on the phone for almost an hour and he gave us all of our options & answered our many questions.  We're really excited to have him for our wedding!

    We also used Mike Egan from HEavenly Weddings and yes was awesome, he worked with us so much to personalize our ceremony.
