lounge type venue HELP

Hi all!

I hoping someone could help me... I am looking for a venue that has a lounge type feel, I want to do food stations insed of a sitdown dinner I rather have high top tabels and funiture rather than round tabels... the wedding is in December so a tent isnt an option.
Has anyone seen a venue with this type of feel in RI or MA (seekonk, swansea, Fall River, even up to Foxboro..)

Thank you!!!

Re: lounge type venue HELP

  • How many people?  Many restaurants could possibly work although December is high demand for holiday parties.
  • Check out The Nylo Hotel in Warwick...

  • Try the waterman grille in providence, they are really accommodating and they have a really pretty function room right on the water.  http://www.watermangrille.com/
  • 41 North is amzing and could be perfect depending on guest count
  • pearl lounge in providence

    Cafe nouvo

the Met cafe i,f your a rocker! i was soooo close to booking this place but its too small for us
  • Vanity, vanityri.com, was where we went to a rehearsal dinner and it definitely has that lounge vibe.  They are relatively new but the food was delicious and they may be able to hold that many, not sure.

  • Another vote for Vanity - love the food. I like Pearl Lounge too, very nightclub feel but the food is meh. Definitely recommend Nylo Hotel!

I second 41 North - it seemed like the perfect venue for a lounge feel, and their sales director was great!  They also don't charge higher prices for Saturdays just because they're Saturdays.  And have all kinds of furniture configuration options to break up the space.
