Any Casino Brides out there! question....

I'm getting married next June at the Casino... Just found my dress.. a Paloma Blanca in the natural raw silk color.. If anyone has been to or is familiar with the Casino ballroom, he or she knows the ceiling is bursting with whimsical color.. I'm brainstorming some ideas of a modest color palette so as not to compete, clash or over power the beauty of the room.  I initially was thinking greys and light teals (in a sea glass spectrum)  any other thoughts?  ( i attached a picture of the casino for those brides not familiar!) Thanks!!

I'm having my reception at the Casino in October (100 days to be exact!)  I don't know if my color palate is what you're looking for; we're using an eggplant/wine color with light green & gold accents.  I have seen photos of a wedding there with a blush pink, gold, & light green color palate which looked beatuiful, but not suitable for my October wedding.  Keep in mind that the chairs are gold as you finalize your colors.  Good luck planning!!

We did mostly grey with a pale peachy pink.  I wanted it to "go" with the space, like you said.  The colors in the ceiling are: grey, rose-pink, mustard yellow, gold, the seafoam aqua/seaglass color you mention, off-white, I forget what else.

Ok, I just looked at the pics I have saved on my computer, looks like those are all the colors.  A lot of that mustard color, but in the evening light it warms up to a gold.

The cocktail hour space on the first floor is a lot of wood with off-white.  We didn't have any of the pale pink down there.  All the flowers for the cocktail hour were white and off-white and grey (leaves).  Then upstairs, we had the florists add in the pink.  I was SUPER conscious of how color worked for the entire day.  Let me know if you have more questions.

The last picture doesn't show the space off well, but here are my teasers: http://www.melissarobotti.com/blog/index.php/2009/10/28/weddings-coming-soon-jennifer-aaron/

I wanted to add that my dress was also natural raw silk color.  Warm but not ivory/yellowish.  Lovely.  :-)  June will be really nice b/c the roses in the Rose Garden will be in bloom.  Make sure you tell Heather you want to book the Rose Garden for pictures!

Seeing your pictures was a huge part in my decision to go with the Casino! Your photographer did an AMAZING job and you were a GORGEOUS bride! I loved your colors and have liked the grey from the getgo.  Thank you for the advice and yes, I told Heather I would love to book the rose garden! I also want to do pictures on the Carousel.  I think I have finally decided on a soft "dusty" aqua color, antique gold, off white, with that peachy pink color popping up in flowers, discrete decor.  You're right, the space is beautiful, but there's a lot going on so I wanted to have colors pop in pictures outside and down stairs in the cocktail hour space without those same colors competing with the fun flamboyant upstairs.  I'm sure I'll be bothering you with more questions throughout the next year! haha just a fair warning.  thank you again!

I just got married at the Casino in May. My dress was a natural color. We did a blush pink, sage and champagne palette. I have a few pictures back from the photographer. We used colors on the tables that played with the color of the ceiling, it helped make the room look really warm and golden.

PS the casino was a great venue for a wedding. We had a great time!
