Warwick Country Club

Hi ladies!

We have been engaged for just over a month now and this is my first post! We have just started checking out venues and I need some advice. We think we will love the Warwick Country Club based on its location and pictures, but my FMIL is convinced the dance floor is awkward. We haven't got to check it out yet, so does anyone have any input? Is it in another room or does it feel really separated from the rest of the reception?

Thanks for the help!

Re: Warwick Country Club

  • We considered WCC and ultimately decided against it for that reason. We attended a wedding there recently and it was awkward which confirmed our decision. If you have a smaller guest list and can set up the tables such that all tables can see the dance floor then it is a great option. It is just not central to the room but with the right guest list and space planning it could work. The location and space are stunning. Also if you decide on the space I would make sure the sound system is set up well. We could not hear a thing at the wedding we attended there.
  • Warwick Country Club was a runner up, but I agree. I have never been to a wedding there but the space is kind of awkward. It is not in another room, just kind of in the back corner. They have set it up quite differently this year with a much bigger bar area, it looks really nice. The view is gorgeous.

(We fell in love with Rhode Island Country Club where the dancefloor is in a completely different room so maybe my opinion is useless lol)
