Roger William Botanical Garden - Summer?

Hello!  

I came across the Roger William Botanical Garden for a wedding venue however my concern is the heat during the summer.  I am looking for a July or August wedding and not sure how this would go being a "greenhouse" essentially. 

Any summer RW Botantical Garden brides out there?

And if so...could you share your expereince...possibly budget?

I'm a RWBC bride, but getting married in the Fall.  There is no A/C, so depending on the weather that day, it could get pretty warm in there depending on how many people you are having, however, if you are having an evening event, it would likely cool a bit. If I remember correctly, with the doors open, there is a nice breeze that goes through as well, which would help to cool it down a bit. You can also use the greenhouses for the ceremony and cocktail hour, and then the tent for the reception, but IDK if that has A/C either.    

The budget varies depending of the time of year, day of the week, and whether or not you are a Providence resident. But it does not include anything except the space. You will need to rent chairs and tables from a rental company, which your caterer will likely be able to do, or at least point you in the right direction.

I have been in the garden in June and .... it's a greenhouse. It can get quite toasty. Make sure you serve plenty of icy drinks and water.

My cousin attended a wedding there this summer and she called it "tropical heat wave" it is a greenhouse - and so it essentially has that effect that it gets super hot in there. She said when they were dancing it was beautiful with all the greenage and plants but she felt like maybe she was in the middle of a jungle somewhere because it was humid, hot and green.

okay so RWBG is definitely out of the question for a summer wedding - we, especially my fiance, does not do heat well!  Thanks ladies!
