Transportation Recommendations?!?

Hi guys!

Does anyone have any recommendations for affordable transportation companies in RI?

The hotel we blocked rooms at is about 20 minutes from the venue. I would like to offer transportation to my guests (safety reasons...open bar). 

Ideally I would like rides to and from the reception. We are anticipating roughly 130 guests (not all of whom will need a ride). But a good number will. Does anyone have any recommedations for shuttles?? Some of the prices I have been quoted are much higher than I was hoping to spend

Did you try a local cab company? Sounds weird, but they have mini vans and we found they were far cheaper than shuttle or limo companies. Plus they didn't have the 5 hour requirement so you have more flexibility. We got two minivans for our guests and it worked out really well! They put a sign on their windows with both family's last names so guests know that's their shuttle.

Also have you thought of using a school bus? I had a quote of about $300 bucks for a school bus for about 5hrs.

I believe it was from Fisher Buses.

I called them last year so the prices might have gone up. I think the guys name was Mike or Mark or soemthing.
