Hi All,
  The Crowne seems to be a venue that people say is affordable, however, I can't find any pricinng on the website.  I get really anxious about calling people, so I figured I'd ask you guys first.  What was the approximate per person food cost (and drink cost if they did the bar on a per person basis)?  THANKS!

Hi! Good to see another crowne bride :-) We're in the Plaza Ballroom.

We booked in 2009 and locked in that pricing. So for the FIlet Mignon dinner, for example, it's 78.00 per person but that includes everything in their package - cocktail hour with cheese/fruit or vegetable display, 5 different passed hors d'oeuvres, open bar for the cocktail hour with premium brands, ice sculpture (which I think they've changed to chocolate fountain), champagne toast, 2 bottles of wine per table, appetizer, salad, sorbet, entree and wedding cake the dinner, private cocktail area for wedding party, overnight room for bride & groom, complimentary room + $50 to Remington's on first anniversary. It's $4.00 extra to add pasta, not served family style (really expensive and such a ridiculous price but necessary at an Italian wedding).

We've chosen to omit some things out of our package to get some of the cost down. We're working with Janet and her assistant Zac...both awesome and very responsive to our needs.

I am sending everyone I know to the Crowne.  Janet is fan-tastic.  The wedding package pricing really can't be beat.  It's worth calling and setting up an appointment to see the place and they'll go over every detail of what is included.  Anything you don't want (ice sculpture, cake) you'll get credited for.  The food is delicious, too!!  I'm getting married 2 months from today (OMG HOLY CRAP) and because of all of the help I've gotten from the Crowne, I'm so confident that everything will be just perfect!
