So here's the deal! I grew up Mormon and my fiancée Lutheran. Neither of us practice but our families are 100% supportive of a nondenominational wedding. I am having a Mormon friend of the family officiate instead of a Justice of the Peace, so we wouldn't mind including something spiritual though not religion specific (if that makes sense...). Do you guys have any suggestions on procedures? I would like to have readings either spiritual or secular. Any ideas? Also, anything not religiously symbbolic for a union? Like candles or a sand thing or something? Really - I'm open to all ideas! And please, no religious haters. What we believe or don't believe is our own deal
