Hello everyone! My wedding is June of 2012 and I am hoping to do some kind of unity ceremony to join 2 families together because essentially thats what we are doing. I have 3 children (ages 8, 5, and 4) and he has a daughter (13 yrs old). I dont want to do a candle ceremony because the wedding is outside and well my luck the flame would go out or someone would get burned. I have considered a sand ceremony but it to has its downfalls. What do you suggest that involves kids at the younger ages? I have seen some places mention giving the children stuffed animals or even some kind of jewelry as a symbol during the ceremony. But what would you give the boys?
