Tipping DJ?

Hey everyone, I am just trying to budget things out. How much do you usually tip your DJ?

I've always heard that if he is the owner of the company you don't tip and usually about $50 if it's an employee of the company.

It all depends on the services the DJ provides.  I was a wedding planner for years.  If the DJ is doing uplighting, monograms, etc then I normally told my clients $150 even if they are the owners.  Only if you had a good time though!  If they are just doing music then $50 to $75 is good.
