Bridal and Gift RANT! (long story)

Warning to brides - DO NOT go to Bridal and Gift in Attleboro.

I heard bad things about them before I went - got my shoes there anyway and all worked out well ...SO my mom ordered her shoes there, too.
That's where we got into trouble. My poor mother planned to have her shoes months before the wedding (10-10) and they said it would take until Sept. 1st, she was bummed.

Sept 1st came and went. A week later they called - the shoes were in. But in the wrong color. 2 weeks later - the SAME ISSUE! I swear they did the shoe color wrong at least twice, maybe 3 times. They still didn't get it right after knowing how angry my mother was.

My mom is STILL trying to find a last-minute fix and is totally panicked about her shoes.

After all of the bad stuff I heard about them before - I should have known. But please - for your own peace of mind - DO NOT GO TO BRIDAL AND GIFT!

Sorry to hear about your bad experience. I haven't heard much in regards to bad, but I was fortunate to have a good experience there. I only ended up there for my veil, which they matched perfectly with my dress and gave me a great discount on. Of course, who knows what my experience would have been had I tried to get my dress or other accessories there...

Good luck finding the right shoes!

i had a bad experience there when I was a BM
my dress was so loose even after two fittings I had to tape it up and wear the straps on teh dress to hold it up without exposing myself!! it was horrible.

The entire lining of my dress ripped after about 5 minutes-- which isnt necessarily bridal and gifts problem as much as it is the manufacturer

I remmber having bad experiences there back years ago when I was going to prom-- and them telling me they had no dresses to "fit me" back in highschool I was like a size 6-8--- but I have always been bigger on top. shoulders and bubbies.... it was horribly embarassing-- i said back then, even at 16 yrs old, that I would never go back.

10 yrs later i ended up back there and it was just as awful
