wedding aisle runners

I am trying to search out a aisle runner to purchase. One I can put on carpet and one that will be durable, not bunch, or tear. Any ideas on websites or stores?

Re: wedding aisle runners

  • I highly recommend www.customizedweddingcreations.com

They have very high quality runners in all sizes, colors and will do custom monorams for you.

We purchased a runner from them for my daughter's wedding.
  • They sell fabric aisle runners in the wedding aisles at Joann Fabrics and Michaels.  I got the one from Joann's and then handpainted our monogram and wedding date on it using the instructions here:

  • I'm not trying to be one of those people who gives unrequested criticism that doesn't answer the question you asked. BUT just in case no one has annoyed you yet with this... my mom is a pastor (i.e. has attended - and officiated - more weddings than I will ever even be invited to!), and the first thing she begged of me was to not have an aisle runner. Apparently they are very angsty little things, a nightmare of sorts, often difficult to roll out, get to stay, etc. I took her advice, and just thought I'd pass it on, because I figure my mom knows more about that stuff than I ever will. Hopefully I'm not annoying you with my warning post.
P.S. The Knot just made a new post about alternative ceremony decorations, too!
