Cupcake/Dessert Recommendation - Simply Indulgence experiences???

Looking for advice on doing just cupcakes or adding other small finger desserts for options...

Also any recommendations on people/places???

Last, anyone have any experience with Simply Indulgence in Warwick, RI?

Tip-C Cupcake is catering our wedding. We are having a dessert buffet including cupcakes. We did look at The Cupcakerie and Pink and Brown Bakery but they just offered basic cupcakes. Tip-C Cupcakes offered a twist. Cupcakes with alcohol/liquor flavoring as well as a variety of fresh desserts like fruit tarts and tiramisu. Taste-wise, they were the best! No death by frosting and everything was made from scratch. Tip-c cupcakes have a pretty extensive and creative menu. They were also very budget friendly.

btw my favorite is the Dirty Monkey!

One of my BM's just got the sangria cupcakes from Tip-C! She said they were amazing! I can't wait to try some myself. I think Sweet Indulgence presents their cupcakes and candy buffets well (as seen in photographs) but I've never tasted any of their desserts other than chocolate dipper strawberries. The Bakery Boutique (pinkandbrownbakery.com) has a Wedding Cake flavor and I've tried several of their other flavor cupcakes but to be honest, they were a tad on the dry side, but had an overall good flavor.

Have you heard of the Sugarush cupcake truck? It travels around Providence but they also do special orders - heard their options are "to die for". They're also on FB http://www.facebook.com/#!/sugarushtruck?v=info

Duck & Bunny on Wickenden also does good cupcakes - I like their Lemon & Lavender.

Sugarush cupcake truck? *droolz* okay I am going to definitely track this down. Tip-C cupcakes is like 5 minutes from our house so that's how I found them lol. I agree with your review of Pink and Brown. I can't understand why they won best cupcake, I've had so much better in R.I.

I have had Tip-C cupcakes that I have brought to parties etc and they are amazing. All top shelf alcohol and also they make non-alcoholic ones. The lady told me that even kids can eat the alcoholic ones b/c there is so little alcohol. The Pina colada cupcake is my fav!

after reading this I went in on Saturday and purchased a dozen assorted for a dinner my fiance and I were having for his family...and everyone LOVED them!  When I went in I mentioned I was thinking of incorporating them into my wedding and the co owner immediately came out and sat down to talk.  I am going to use them as favors...it ends up to about $3 a person but the wrapping of each individual cupcake is included and they will customize the packaging to match the wedding colors!!  I`m so exited!!
