DJ for Narragansett

I'm looking for a DJ for our September 15, 2012 wedding at Spain Restaurant in Narragansett, RI.  We don't want any big bells and whistles-no flashing lights or strobes.  Just basically someone to play music.  We're on a really tight budget.  I'm almost to the point where I would just plug my iPod in and play music continually.  Are there any suggestions for really reasonably priced DJs in the area?

    Have you tried Jason at Music Mixers. He is familiar and in the area, but I don't know that hell be available in SEptember

    I would look on Craigslist. Ive seen Djs advertised anywhere from 300-800 on there. Just a suggestion. Not sure where your budget is.

    Omg...you r the first bride I have seen on here having a Spain wedding too!! R u outside? We are....I am using pleasure sounds unlimited, he is a good friend of my fiances, so I am not sure what his prices really are, but he will be djing my wedding the weekend before you...September 9....I don't know how to inbox on this site, but if you do..lol...inbox me your details, I will have my votives and mason jars for candles etc that you can have if you need them maybe that would help your budget ; , and whatever other decorations I am using if you want...I have a bunch of stuff and would be happy to help out....let me know....heather

    I booked Moondance for my wedding next June.  They are 775 for 4 hours and 100 for each additional hour.  I heard them at one of my good friends weddings last summer and they were great!

    I think I'm going to end up going with Moondance.  So far, they've been the least expensive right now and at this point, that's really all I'm concerned with.  Thank you for your advice.
