Any Pagan ceremony ideas?

They didn't have anything listed here on the site, so I was just wondering if anyone knew of any good places with Pagan wedding ceremonys/handfastings listed. More so ones that aren't too overtly pagan? My Fiance's family is Methodist and pretty religious (he's more so agnostic/unreligious all together) and I don't want to werid them out or give them a bad opinion of me just because of the ceremony
Thanks in advance!

Re: Any Pagan ceremony ideas?

  • Stage gave you awesome info.  I just wanted to add that in most weddings the guests can't see what's on the altar itself (elevated most of the time).  So you could get away with adding items of faith to it that won't necessarily be seen from the audience's perspective.  For example an athame, small pentagram, holly sprig, etc.

  • My Aunt had her wedding at a venue where the chairs for the guests were set up in a circle around the altar in the middle, true, their backs were to some people, but most everybody was understanding.
