Just got Bad News :(

So I just got word that my brother will be deploying... and will not be in the states for my wedding.    I don't even know what I'm going to do with myself right now.

I am so sorry that is happening.  I am an Army wife and I understand the military can be very unpredictable.  Just be strong for your brother and maybe if his mid tour leave falls close to the wedding they could get him home for it.

I'm sorry to hear this My husband's brother, the best man, was deployed 2 days before our wedding. It was awful but we made sure to mention his service at the reception and had a moment of silence for him. Best to be supportive of him right now as I am sure he feels awful about missing your big day too!

How awful for the both of you!!!  My sister's husband is deployed right now and we thought he would miss the wedding but he was able to take his leave during the wedding and was able to make it. Maybe your brother will be able to do the same thing. Military life can really suck sometimes
