Hi ladies,

Just wondering if anyone has worked with Sarah from Sweet Jane Photography?  I love her work on her site and was hoping someone might be able to share their experience.  Thanks!

Nevermind, I googled.  She is. 

YES!  She's great!  My friend used her for her baby photos.  She said she was FAB!

Thanks for the info - she is out of Providence so I thought I might get more feedback posting on the RI board - but she seems to do weddings all over.  Those pics are adorable!  Thanks for sharing the link.   Anybody use her for their wedding?

Honestly, I think she's just starting out in the wedding part of it all.  So she's only shot friends' weddings.  From what I understand.  I could be wrong.  Did oyu try asking on the Cape Cod board?  I can ask my friend if she knows.

Thanks for your feedback!  I like her work but her communication has been so poor I don't feel confident booking her as a vendor.

We used her, DON'T!!!!!  REally poor communications, you email, maybe you get a response if you call or email 3 more times and wait 3 weeks.

She and a partner were there for photos, she used the good camera and got crappy shots and he used the poor camera and got good shots but really bad quality. I'm not sure that these can be fixed. 

Really don't use her.  I'm still working on the pic quaility and editting with her, but if things don't work out quick we are going to small claims court.

Of all our vendors she was the one I was most worried about failing and she did.  I even put a special clause in the contract about delivery dats because she was unreliable.  

I'm so pissed at myself for using her, and not getting great shots of our wedding for my wife.

Thank you for your response!  I am glad to hear I am not the only one who has had these problems, and it makes me feel better about booking with my new photographer, who I absolutely adore!   Sarah's blog looks great, but if I have to coerce you into meeting with me so I can give you a deposit, I am ALL SET!

We also used her and it was when she was just starting out.  She was a good photographer to work with  prior to the wedding and the day of the event.  But I have to agree with what others are saying about her communication. She has been the worst business person that we have ever had to deal with in the world. Think twice before you are going to consider using her if you want to see your album and photos before your first year anniversary.  It has been over 3 years and we just got our album.  She does not respond to emails, phone calls or text messages.  We are still waiting for some enlargements, at this point we are lucky we have our album and have decided to write off what we did not receive.  This was one of the most important pieces of our wedding and if we had to do it again I would not hire her if she was the last photographer in the world.
