Hair & Make up: Salon Michiques - Cumberland RI
They are not often mentioned on here, but they were amazing! I went back and forth about whether to do my hair up or down & Meghan did trials with both looks so I could decide the day of (based on the weather, as my hair does not do well in humidity). Meghan and Robin (make up) were AMAZING! Both my hair and make up lasted all day (through the heat) and into the night. They also did my bridesmaids, flower girl and my Mom.
Dress: Ana's Bridal, East Providence
I had one hic-up with my veil taking a long time to come in (they said it would be in by the first fitting and then the second). I didn't have it by my hair trial which I was disappointed about, but in the end everything worked out fine and I was very happy with the finished product. It was a little warm in their basement (where you have the fittings done) which was a bit uncomfortable. Overall, I was happy with my dress which was the most important thing to me.
Transportation: 5 Star Limo
They were on time and everything worked out great - the only minor issue was the temperature in the limo - it was a bit hot and the air conditioning system consisted of small vents that didn't do a great job of cooling us off. They were really reasonably priced though & easy to work with. Overall I was happy with them.
Officiant: Frank Camera, Justice of the Peace
Frank was really easy to work with. We had one meeting with him and that was sufficient. He is an experienced pro who knows what he's doing. He was also very open to crafting the ceremony to what we wanted. The only thing I'd say to anyone looking to use him is that he's better with phone then email. We got a lot of compliments on our ceremony!
Tuxes: Men's Wearhouse
Everything worked out great. My husband and Dad's pants came in a little short but they fixed it on the spot - they have locations everywhere which was super helpful for our out-of-town groomsmen.
