Photographer recommendations

Hi - this is a cross post from the CT board.  We are planning a 2012 wedding at Lake of Isles just across the border.  Photography is the next item for us to tackle, we are hoping to stay in the $3-4k range for full day coverage, two photographers, and image rights.  Any recommendations are appreciated.

    Visual-Obsession! They are from CT too. My package was a little over 3 grand for 2 pro photographers, full day unlimited coverage,post processing on all images and rights to reprint plus a first look/e-session. They are really fun, laid back easy going guys with a great eye!

    This was their last wedding of 2010, a great testament of their work.

    We loved him from the moment we met him.  I like his more natural eye, and our package was -very- reasonable.  He's done a lot on the cape, but is just getting into the RI/CT market I think.  Plus (sounds funny)... but we're going to have a beer w/ him and his wife this weekend.  ... Because he wants to get to know us before he shoots us :)

    Good luck!  I love photography.  This part was so fun :)

    Linda Hawkins is AWESOME and fabulous to work with! My package was a little over 3 grand, 10 hours of coverage, rights to reprint, 4x6 prints of all of your pictures, photo gallery, etc. She puts in a lot of work to make her client's pictures perfect.     I thought my photographers were great, a little below your budget, but I thought the quality of their pictures was just as good if not better than some of the more expensive photographers. They are both newspaper-trained-photojournalists and I got both photographers, full day coverage, an album and two parent albums, and disc with reprint rights for $2500.     We're using Heidi Vail Photography - she's based in Boston but travels everywhere!  She is amazing, our engagement shoot came out gorgeous, we get compliments on them all the time.  Her turn around time for edits and getting me the final disk with all 110 images was a week!  She will customize one of her packages to meet your needs and budget which is nice, she also shoots with her husband as a second shooter and is with you all day.  My friend just booked her for her September wedding on the cape.

    Hi,
    I am new to the posting/boards....my wedding is in 25 days!!
    Yea.......I booked Kelly Hike for my photographer.
    Her work and personality are outstanding.  I know she will keep me calm and cool on the BIG DAY. 
    I hate myself in photos yet in my engagement photos I feel and look beautiful.  Please feel free to contact me with any other questions.  She is in your price range.

    We are using Carla Tenyeck. She is AmAZING. Her prices may seem high at first , but we told her what our budget was ans she tweaked a few things to make it work.
