Getting "in" SNEW...

Hi girls I know a few girls on the board have been featured in SNEW (or maybe they are on the nest boards now)
I thought in order to get in you had to have a photographer, DJ or Caterer that advertised in the magazine.
But when I was flipping through the featured couples- it seemed that some of them only had a baker, or limo company etc.

Does anyone know?

I know my DOC submitted our wedding to SNEW but we only used two of their featured or advertised vendors so I wasn't surprised that our wedding didn't make it. Also, our wedding was not nearly as lavish as some (not all) of the weddings featured in the magazine. I am not sure how they determine what weddings to feature but I am sure they have a criteria including what venue/vendors were used in the wedding.
