Looking for a DJ

Does anyone have any suggestions on a good DJ? Preferably one that isn't crazy expensive.

I've said this a couple of times on the board, but just in case you missed it, don't use Arpeggio.  We hired them because we liked their price and the rep we met with was awesome.  We weren't happy with their service at the wedding and they're the only vendor from out wedding we wouldn't recommend.

Hello! I am using Celebrations. I highly recommend them as my family has used them for every event we have had and they have never disappointed us : )  They also offer a ton of other things besides entertainment. You can get invitations from them, uplighting, tuxedo rentals, photobooth, etc. Good luck : )

I'm using Bobby from Main Event Weddings.  We have a band & he's turning the band breaks into a rocking dance club!

I'd also recommend Victor from Partytime.  He's got a ton of happy brides on this board. :)

I highly recommend DJ Jason Mello.  He's DJ'd a few parties I have been to and I knew I wanted him to DJ my wedding.  He just DJ'd my wedding shower on Saturday and everyone loved him!  He is very easy to work with and wants to make sure your day is exactly how you want it. His prices are very good and much more reasonable then a lot of DJ's out there.
    Check out his website http://jasonmellodj.com/
    Good luck!

I highly recommend Victor from Party Time.  He was absolutely fantastic to work with and my dance floor was full all night long.  I felt like he really made an effort to get to know us.  He is a bit pricey, but he was well worth it.

I'm going to post reviews shortly, but we hired Andy Gomes from Men with Many Hats Entertainment based out of Taunton, MA. They were tremendously reasonable and Andy kept the party moving all night without becoming the center of attention. He was really fantastic.
