Totally Stumped..

So this is probably about to sound reallyyyy bad...but i have absolutely NOT A CLUE what to buy FI for Christmas!! He is one of those people who goes out and buys everything he wants/needs when he wants/needs it!!! He hasnt given any hints, and when I ask if there's anything particular he wants it's always "not really" or "whatever you find" UGHHH!!! I always just say what I want,  and he usually just gets a few other things around it lol but he's so difficult I know that i am going to buy him a money clip because he absolutely hates having a wallet, and it always makes me nervous that he just walks around with things in his pockets so i figure a money clip will be a good alternative to this, and they have nice ones at coach for only like 50 bucks, and also a new belt from Coach as well...but besides that, i am stumped as what to get him for a "bigger" gift. Embarassed I feel like a terrible person that this is even an issue...

My husband is also very difficult to shop for too. He buys what he needs and wants nothing - not very materialistic even though he is a tech Geek. If your husband appreciates fashionable items, the Coach money clip is nice especially since it will have a practical purpose too. If he likes to drink whether it be beer or any cold beverage, try getting him Whiskey stones as a stocking stuffer. They keep the beverage cold without diluting the flavor like ice. And if he is like most guys, a Chuck Norris joke book or novelty item like the Chuck Norris cutting board. Gifts with humor are always a hit. Is he a fan of a sports team, you could buy him a jersey or fan cap or even a bobble head. Does he love video games - any particular kind even a gift card to Game Stop. If he works in the office, a nice tie or some nifty paper weights are great as stocking stuffers too. Below are some links to help find the perfect gift. They have been really good guides. Don't feel bad, most people get a little if not a lot stressed when it comes to finding gifts for love ones around Christmas.

You don't have to feel bad I have NO IDEA what to get fiance either.
Hea sked for some rubber bottom slippers he could wear outside to take hte dog out- so i picked him up some of those faux fur lined minnetonkas yesterday. other than that, I have no idea.

My fiance is a beer nut. He loves reading about, learning about different types of beers, so i will probably get him some kind of book or something on beer and a few different varities he might want to try (ill have tosearch his online forum postins to find out what he wants to try) ... there is a sam adams that is liek $65 a bottle he has been dying for.

so what kind of hobby does your fiance have? I know he probably doesnt Need or want for anything, i am the same way- so maybe there is something special he wouldnt ever get for himself. Or maybe you can get him a hair cut, or massage?

i always think experiences are better gifts than items. What about booking a night away- even if its just in newport in the winter or mystic or boston- to get away for a night just the two of you?

Sports stuff always go over with most guys (though not mine, he isnt a total sports fanatic) so as Moni mentioned- maybe a jersey. Or tickets to the bruins or something?

movie baskets, nights away, all those things are always so much better than a few small things.  Since my FI and I are getting married in May, we decided to hold off on Christmas presents this year (only stocking stuffers) and we purchased a couples massage and a few excursions so that way we are doing something that we really want, instead of wasting our money on things we don't need for each other.

Men can be super difficult to shop for, we know it! I got my husband a nice flannel shirt from LL Bean - one thing he never buys for himself is clothes, so that's safe. I also got him a few other things. The money clip and such sound perfect, though! Go with that. Maybe a hand knit scarf (etsy) and matching gloves?

Thank you all for your advice!! I saw a groupon for a seal watch in Newport, I thought that would be kind of cool. We already have a few days planned away in February to go skiing for his birthday so A night away is a slim chance, he is a work-a-holic (about 70 hours per week) and getting his job to let him take time off is like looking for the pope's number in the white pages, impossible. I know I will definitely get the money clip, and buy him the belt as well. Perhaps some new dress shoes for work, some More months for his xbox subscription. You guys are awsome! All of your suggestions have really opened me up to some more ideas! Thanks again!
