Overlay confusion

So I have been trying to figure out the sizes needed for my overlays before purchasing them, but can't seem to wrap my head around it, LOL! If my tables are 72", should I get 60" or 72" square overlays? I dont really want them to hang as low as the floor length white linens they will go over, so I'm thinking the 60" should work....?? Any recs would be greatly appreciated.

    That's actually a really good question. I would tend to agree with you that, if you don't want the overlay to cover the white linens, you should go shorter.
    Maybe try calling Taylor Rental or something and talk over the size differences with them since they deal with this stuff all the time. You could use the pretense that you're considering renting them, and the sizes are different prices.

    I am guilty of doing just that with Rentals Unlimited. I used their Virtual Tabletop below to get an idea than met with them to see the tablecloth and overlay selection in person. I ended up using them but not to linens, I bought it online but they helped me figure out the sizes and such. Definitely a good idea!
