I read your comment that you did lottery tickets as your favors. We were thinking about this and wanted some feedback. What were your guest reactions to them? Did anyone win? Does it leave a mess of loser tickets and scratch" ashes" all over the tables? THANKS!

    Guests liked them.  No one won big, I think one girl at my table won $5.  I don't remember seeing the scratch ashes (funny term).  The caterers must have cleared the trash?  I honestly don't remember! 

    My uncle got to his table first and scratched every ticket at his table.  Grr. 

    We got vellum envelopes (I think I have extra if you want them) and ordered stickers from etsy from a mailing address lady, to seal the envelopes closed so the penny didn't fall out.  We just adjusted the text to say our names, the date, and "lucky in love" on them.  Cute! 

    I also got 2009 pennies off ebay.  It was some anniversary of the penny so they had images of Lincoln on the back.  I am from Illinois so I thought that was a fun touch - even if only I noticed. 

    We had them placed on each plate, upside down so the sticker showed. 

    I got the idea from another knottie who also got married at the Casino.
