    I've never heard of these photographers. Are they based in the area?

    I've never heard of them, but from what I could tell- Shawn Michaels had the best work. Michael David wasn't bad, and Paula's just wasn't very good (in my opinion).
    It's all about the connection though- you have to find a photographer that you really click with. You are gonna be spending intimate time with them on the big day so you have to be able to consider them like a close friend...

    i've also never heard of these photographers and i did a ridiculous amount of research on photographers before picking one. some of the photographers that get good reviews here are:
    Zenobia Photography Studios
    Faith Dungan
    Melissa Robotti
    David Bibeault

    there are definitely people that i'm missing....but this might be a good starting off point.

    In addition to the above recommendations, I'm going to throw in Armor & Martel in Portsmouth. I've been talking with Chris Martel about having Armor & Martel photograph my wedding, and, in addition to taking great photos, he's a really nice guy. Not the cheapest in town, though.

    I found my photographer Connie Gorsch on weddlink link.    She and her husband are ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS!   I cannot say enough great things.   Although my wedding is three months away and we havent even done the engagement photos yet, she is the type of woman that really puts you at ease, pays attentioon to everything, works with you and is just a true delight.  I cannot wait for her to be a part of my day.
