Ideas needed

I appear to have "wedding" block. I cannot seem to settle on an idea for our centerpieces. I really like idea of picking 2 different styles so not every table matches. I have thrown around the idea of doing different heights but the same flowers. I just cant seem to pull it together. I really would love to incorporate candles, but like I said I just cant seem to pull it together.
Any and all ideas are welcome (if you have pictures that would be fantastic!!)

We are getting married in October at the casino and our colors are Chocolate brown and Champagne with orange and gold accents.

I love the look of the tall trumpet vases and then on other tables the low container centerpieces.  To incorporate candles how about votives around the base of the flower arrangements?

I love the look of these candleholders when they surround a low centerpiece...maybe a short round vase of ivory or orange roses, or a mix of the two?

This vase is also matches your color scheme (not sure about the mosaic though) and would look nice with ivory roses.

These small votive holders are cute but pretty pricey for just 2...nice look though.

    :-) This is fun!

My reception is at the casino. I think we are doing half tall centerpieces and then half pillar candles on the other tables. I saw the room set-up with this arrangement and it looked nice.

I'm not a huge fan of flowers, and right now we're leaning towards doing black iron lanterns with pillar candles inside every few feet (we're having long tables). Maybe some sea glass in between on the runners.

You could do half floral and half non floral, which would cut down on costs.

I love the idea of doing half floral half not. I think what I really need to do is get ahold of Heather at the casino and see if I can see a wedding set up. I am having trouble even finding pictures online of it setup.

I am telling you I have the worst case of "wedding"block.

Thank you for all the ideas!!! Keep 'em coming!

    Our reception was there.  http://www.melissarobotti.com/blog/?p=1261
Those are our teasers.  The last pic shows the room set up but it's kinda far away.  If you live nearby, just go to the Casino on a Saturday late morning and walk in.  I did that once, no one stopped me.  If there's no wedding......try again another day!

We went with shorter centerpieces for a more intimate feel.  The flowers were arranged in silver coffeepots, teapots, creamers, sugars, tea tins, etc.  Then the containers were placed on a tea serving tray, with frosted glass votive holders on the tray too.

You could find gold chargers, and put your candles on those for the candle centerpieces.  That would be your gold and champagne.  Then for the brown and orange colors, do dahlias and other fall-time flowers with twigs or monkey tail, maybe even arranged in brown baskets.  If not baskets, then clear glass vases.

Our colors were grey/pink/off-white, but we only had pink flowers upstairs.  For the cocktail hour downstairs, only off-white flowers.  (There aren't any grey flowers!)

You can email me if you have any other questions/concerns.  My email is jlsimon56 at hotmail dot com.

These aren't all exactly your colors but they may give you some different ideas about how to incorporate different heights and candles and I just kind of love all these arrangements :)

We did high and low with champagne, chocolate brown and ivory with an accent of pink. We had lots of candles everywhere.

I love the look of manzanita tree branches-- and with a fall wedding you can keep them natural looking, and do some flowers at the base----

Or you can even use them on one table with hanging votives like this:

    Check on Save-on-crafts
    or Koyal.com
    to find the hanging lights

Then the for the rest of the tables you could do a nice fall looking small floral like this:

Even if the pumpkin is "too much " you can get rid of it and just use a vase

Have you clicked in your "color" scheme on the knot. Its tedious to go through all the photos-- but it helps you get ideas.
