Hello Everyone,

I'm getting married in August of this year in Newport and am beginning to look at wedding cake places.  Does anyone know of any either in the Newport area, or that would deliver to Newport? Thanks!

Check out The Bakery Boutique, They are in Smithfield, RI but might deliver to Newport. They have been amazing to work with and the cake is delish!

Try Karen Benjamin of Creative Cake Company in Newport. Best cakes I have ever tasted even the fondant was delicious. Since she is local, delivery is really inexpensive. Definitely worth meeting her for a free consult.

Most bakeries will deliver to Newport- however, consider a local bakery to save on delivery costs.
As moni mentioned there is creative cake Co.
Also try fatullis (in middletown) or Scrumptions (in EG so the delivery is closer)

I love that taste of Scrumptious' cakes but uh service was left to be desired. On two separate ocassions, I had some issues with them. The cakes though taste so good.

The best tasting cake in RI in my opinion is from the Gregg's restaurants.  However their decorating skills aren't great & they only make small-ish cakes.  So we had a "display cake" from Sin (the top tier was real so we could cut it at the reception) & in the kitchen, there were sheet cakes from Gregg's that the staff served.  As long as the staff knows to take the display cake away after you cut it, nobody will know that's not the one they're eating.  Both Sin & Gregg's delivered to Newport.
