It only took me about 2 months, but I finally had some time to sit down and do my vendor reviews. We had an amazing wedding and couldn't have asked for better weather! We have so many new memories from our wedding day and it's definitely something we will never forget about! Hope they will be helpful to someone!
Venue - OceanCliff Hotel A+
Everyone that I worked with at OceanCliff for my wedding was amazing! When ever I had a question they were always there to answer them no matter what time of the day it was. Our "captain" the day of the wedding was so sweet and got us whatever we needed and made sure we were enjoying ourselves and having a good time. The food was so good and the biggest hit was the slider bar station we had during cocktail hour. Everything was perfect and I couldn't have worked with better people. OceanCliff was amazing and I would highly recommend them to everyone.
Officiant - Frank Camera A
Frank is such a nice man and knows what he's doing. He made everything flow very nice and easy. The day of the wedding though he was a little grumpy but once the ceremony started he was fine.
Photographer - Wingate Photography A+
Our wedding pictures came out amazing. I knew a couple of other people who used Wingate and after seeing their pictures and hearing about their experiences, I knew that's who we wanted. Chuck was awesome the day of, everything went smoothly and perfect. I don't think there is one picture that we don't like. I can't wait to see how our wedding album is going to turn out!
DJ - Gary Lombard A+
Gary is an awesome DJ and tons of fun! I had been to 2 weddings before that he was the DJ for and he knew how to get everyone up and dancing and having a good time. I would definitely use him again.
Cupcakes - Cupcake Charlies A
It was an easy decision for us to go with Cupcake Charlies. I absolutely LOVE there cupcakes! They were so easy to work with and understood what I wanted as far as decorations on the cupcakes and the stand. Everyone loved the cupcakes. The only reason why I didn't give them an A+ was because on the day of the wedding the stand wasn't decorated as it was suppose to, but It was okay because it still looked really nice.
Flowers - Flowers by Semia A+
Semia was amazing and so sweet. I didn't really know what I wanted for flowers and her ideas were so good and easy to understand. She was great to work with. Once we finalized the details on the flowers I got really excited because they sounded like they were going to be gorgeous and sure enough the morning of the wedding when they delivered the flowers they were! They were absolutely beautiful! If I lived in RI I would go to Semia every time I needed flowers for anything.
Hair & Makeup - Sara Faella's Glam Squad A+
The glammies were amazing! The day of my trial I went not knowing what I wanted to do and after playing around with my hair and trying different things we found a style that I loved. The day of the wedding I had 3 glammies and a barber. The barber did an awesome job on the guys and they all looked very nice. Me and each of my maids had our own glammie for our hair and makeup. They were so nice and did an amazing job. I would highly recommend them to everyone, they are totally worth it!
Dress Alterations - Sewing Creations by Rose A+
Rose is by far the sweetest person I have ever met in my entire life, she is amazing! My dress had to be taken in A LOT and it didn't faze her. She really knows what she's doing and I'm so happy I went with her. She did an amazing job and I loved my dress. She is by far the best!
Rehersal Dinner - Sardella's A+
The food was amazing and our waitress was so nice. Everyone loved it and I can't wait to go again the next time I'm down in Newport!
Hotel - Newport Beach Hotel and Suites A+
This has to be by far my favorite hotel ever so far! We got 2 suites for the night before the wedding, the girls in one and the guys in the other. There was so much room in the suites to accommodate everyone and especially the morning of the wedding with everyone getting hair and makeup done. The view we had was beautiful looking out to the beach. That weekend there was also a carnival there so that night we all decide to go over and hit some of the rides and have some fun! The rooms were extremely clean and I can't wait to go back and stay there again. It was definitely worth paying the money!
After Party - Buskers A+
After the wedding a majority of our guests joined us down at Buskers for an after party, and we had an absolute blast! We had reserved the whole upstairs part of Buskers before hand so we could all be together and have our own bar and bathrooms. The food and drinks were so good. It was the perfect place to go to continue our celebration and to keep partying. We can't wait to go back!
