Vendor Reviews 10-17

Hi All-I always found the vendor reviews so helpful while planning my wedding so I thought I'd post my own in case they help!
The Towers-A
We loved the Towers the second we went inside--it was the only place that "felt" right the second we walked in. Kate was really easy to work with althought we mostly went through West Bay Gourmet. Space always comes up with The Towers--we ended up having 130 guests and felt like there was plenty of room--I would definitely keep it under 150 guests. We used lanterns to decorate inside the towers and lots of hurricange lamps--the weather was cloudy that day and the Towers felt like they were glowing--it felt really magical.
West Bay Gourmet-A
I had a lot of DIY--and KC was really great about accomodating my special requests. I really wanted a menu featuring local ingredients--West Bay buys from many local farms so this was a no brainer. The food was delicious--the decorations were all set up to my liking--Overall, we were very happy.
South Ferry Church-A+ gorgeous, simple, classic church--i absolutely loved it--again-we had 130 and everyone fit just fine.
Melissa Robotti-A--I haven't seen all the photos yet--but so far we love every single one!  here are the teasers--http://www.melissarobotti.com/blog/?p=1368
More vendors to post shortly!

I forgot to ask... where'd you get your hair flower?

Thanks Aylee! The hair flowers were from the florist-they were real garden roses. :)

Where is the field that you took photos in located? I love it and am getting married at the Towers next June. I'd love to find that stone wall!  Also, so glad to hear you were comfortable with 130 in the Towers. The capacity is causing me sleepless nights with our growing guest list. haha.

Mrs. McIrish--the stone wall is so close to the Towers and a gorgeous spot for photos--it is the Chafee Nature Reserve--if you are familiar with the area--the Nature Reserve is right off the road--if you are driving away from the Towers towards the Dunes Club--keep going straight on that road--over bridge--stone wall is on left hand side--you literally just pull off road and you are right there--great spot--and so convenient. Don't worry about space--The Towers is a gorgeous place to have a wedding--you will love it--enjoy the planning process! It goes by so quickly!!! :)

Thanks for the info on Chafee Nature Preserve. I am writing it down now on my list!  Any suggestions for dealing with the Village Inn? I've heard other bad reviews of it but the location was key for us since we don't want people driving since we have a big cocktail crowd. I'm skipping the OOT bags since they'd probably screw it up....

Not sure what to recommend as far as The Village Inn--maybe if you mentioned reading bad reviews on here and asked to see the rooms in your room block(i have heard some rooms are better than others). It really is such a convenient spolt so it is worth working with them. Good Luck!
