Soup and Sandwich Reception???

I am getting married on November 6th of this year in the South Carolina Mountains. The venue is a shabby-chic barn with beautiful mountain views. I am struggling on what type of food to have at our reception. Early November is usually mild and cooler in the evening. We are getting married at 4:00pm and I've pondered the idea of having 3-4 different types of soups with mini sandwiches and salads. What do you guys think? I know it's not really the norm, but I just don't want to have meatballs, chicken fingers and pasta salad like every other wedding I've been too. I would really appreciate the feedback! Thanks in advance:)

I think it sounds yummy as long as you aren't trying to have anything super formal! The soups would be nice because it will just warm you right up since it is cooler in the evenings in Nov.
I'm doing BBQ for my Sept. wedding :)
