Affordable Reception Venues in Columbia???

I am looking for a unique and VERY VERY affordable place to hold my reception. Any ideas other than a hotel?Thanks!-Jen

    We are getting married and having our reception at 403 North Lake Events in Lexington.  It is close to the Mitchell House.  I love it!  We also looked at Wingergreen Woods (smaller but affordable).  I would also suggest the River Center at Saluda Shoals Park.

    701 Whaley cost about $2500 to rent the space to acommidate up to 500 but the space is nice for 200 as well. It comes with 10 tables, 100 chairs and a few other things. Hope that helpsJenn :)

    i'm getting married next year at the river center at saluda shoals park.  it's a great facility that also has a grassy gazebo area nearby which is where my ceremony will be held.  rental fees vary depending on how much space you need. check it out at www.icrc.net
