Hello all! I got married on June 19th in Mt. Pleasant. We had a lot of friends help out with the wedding but I did want to post reviews for the vendors that we had to hire.
Cake: Lisa Sargent from "Let There Be Cake" - A+. Lisa does cakes out of her house in Hanahan. She was bar far the best in price and her cakes are wonderful. The guests raved about how good the cake was. We didn't even have any cake left over because they ate all of it! You can check her out at lettherebecake.net
Rentals: Hughes Rentals in Mt. Pleasant - A. Hughes delivered everything on time and the order was correct. They were a little less expensive than Snyder but they don't have as big of a selection. If you only need basics, they are great!
Wedding gown and bridesmaids dresses: White on Daniel Island - A +. Jodi is absolutely wonderful at what she does. She loves her job and she really wants to make you happy. She is very creative and will customize your gown to exactly how you want it. Not once did she ever push me to buy like some other bridal salons. I can't say enough about her and her shop.
Hair and Makeup: Covergirl Brides - A+. The owner, Karen, did my trial run and Theresa did my day of. Karen told me from the beginning that she wasn't available on my date but that Theresa from the Savannah team could do it. I was a little nervous having a different person for each but Karen gave Theresa all of the info. and we took pics of the trial run for her to use. Everything turned out fabulous!! I can't tell you enough how happy I was with my hair and makeup. I did the airbrush makeup which held up really well. My hair never moved out of place the entire night. It was a little pricey for me (I normally don't spend a lot on myself in that dept.) but I am SO glad I did it!! It was worth every penny.
If anyone wants more info. about these vendors, just let me know. I wouldn't have changed a thing! Good luck to all of the brides in planning out there! Enjoy it because it all goes by so fast!
