Ever had success in selling your gown?

Hi everyone,

I need some help and some advice. Has anyone ever successfully sold your wedding gown? I am trying to get rid of a wedding gown and I have tried posting it online, but no luck there. Now, I want to take it to a consignment shop to see if I can sell it there. Do you think I will have any luck in getting rid of the dress? I think it is a really beautiful gown, just not what I'm looking for and what I want to walk down the aisle in.

    I haven't personally tried but I have heard that it is easier to sell a dress through consignment than ebay or carigslist. A lot of dresses have been through alterations so consignment allows brides to try the dress on before purchase. Either way it is going to take time.
