Dress

I was thinking about going ahead & getting my wedding dress now, but was wondering if it would still look brand new next June. Some people I've asked said it would, others have said that it'll turn yellow.

It will not turn yellow.  If you keep it in the bag in a closet somewhere out of direct sunlight it will be fine!  If it sat out in direct light for a year then you might have some discoloration.  Think of it this way, bridal shops keeps their stock pieces for over a year and they don't look very yellow.  Many brides buy their gowns a year in advance.  I don't think you need to worry! :)

i didn't think so either. plus most bridal places give you a guarantee on the dress for so long correct?

You don't need to worry. Also, keep in mind that if you are ordering a dress from somewhere other than David's Bridal it may take 6 months to get here. I ordered my dress last October. It took 6 months to get here. Alterations, depending on the dress, can take 1-3 months. Just a thought.

Definitely no need to worry. I bought my dress 11 months before my wedding, kept it in the bag in a closet and it was good as new on the wedding day!
This kind of love is what I dreamed about ~6.4.10~
