too far???

The little church im wanting to get married in is to small to have the reception there but i absolutely love the church. The problem though is that the reception site that im wanting is a good 20 minutes away from the church. Is that too far to make my guests travel for the reception???

    I think 20 minutes is OK.  Is the reception spot closer to the hotel where out of towners would stay?  Could you offer shuttle service (just a nice thought, not required).

    i agree 20 minutes is okay, one of my friends got married last year and it was a 35 minute drive-- that was too far, but most guests still didn't complain. i think you're good!
