Rehearsal dinner venue in Columbia, SC

I am the MOG and am looking for suggestions for a nice rehearsal dinner venue in Columbia, SC for about 50 people.  Help, please!!

The wedding venue (rehearsal) will be at the Governor's Mansion so somewhere close to there, I suppose.

I would look in the Vista then, and I would also block hotel rooms in the Vista.

What does the Vista consist of or can I just search "vista"??

The Vista is on Gervais St. It has some nice restaurants. I would recommend Blue Marlin, Liberty Tap Room, California Dreaming, Gervais and Vine (Wine and tapas bar)... Downtown Columbia is not very large so you can book a block of hotel rooms pretty much anywhere downtown and it would be convenient to these places.. Hope this helps

We are getting married in Columbia and havfe booked California Dreaming for our RD.
THey have a private dinning room with servers that are only responsible for your party

If you are going to block rooms in a hotel on Gervais St, I would do at the Hampton Inn Columbia Downtown Historic District - http://www.hamptoninncolumbia.com/ . I had a great experience there. The staff is very friendly, the location is perfect and the breakfast was better than I expected.
