Hi ladies I just went to David's Bridal on Haywood in Greenville this past weekend and thought I would give anyone who is looking a review. I'm from Greenville but live in Connecticut now and went down last weekend to plan my wedding next fall. Let me just preface this by saying that I know everyone's experience is different and I'm just shairing the one I had.
My appointment was at 2 on a Sunday, I thought it would be busy but it was completely dead. There was only one other bride besides myself in the store. The sales associate asked me no questions about what style I liked, she just handed me their catalog and told me to pick out some dresses. When she started bring in dresses she told me that she couldn't help me put the dresses on and I would have to have one of the people that were with me to help me, which totally put me off because it wasn't like she had anyone else to help at that time. She brought me not only completely wrong sizes but she also did not bring any of the dresses that I asked for. The entire appointment she was nowhere to be found until we were about to leave. She was also rude to my bridesmaids who I brought to pick out their dresses. Overall I felt like she didn't care that I was there and it definitely was not the *special* experience it was supposed to be. Needless to say, I left the store empty handed. I know they have different sales associates that work there but I just wanted to warn some of you guys through my experience.
I ended up going to Dimitra and the experience there was AMAZING. My consultant (Alba, I think) was super friendly and helpful. I ended up falling in love with a dress from there and buying it this week.
I hope this helps anyone planning in the Greenville area!
