Originally we had planned to just have a private ceremony immediately before our reception. (truly private just us and our parents and siblings). Then we got to talking and are thinking of changing it up a bit. Our reception venue has offered to let us use their ceremony area for free! Originally we were just going to have the ceremony at 545pm, with cocktail hour starting at 6pm. With that in mind, we figured it might just make sense to invite everyone to the ceremony. Since it will only be a fifteen minute ceremony, there is a chance that they might already arrive at the reception while the ceremony is taking place, so why not just invite them?
The thing is we still dont want to do this huge wedding thing. Just an attendent each, and maybe a flower girl (my niece has never been one, and the other day she went to the store and had my dad buy her a very nice dress for my wedding so I thought it might be nice to ask her to be one, since she is excited for the wedding). My question is would you be disappointed going to a wedding this small and short?
Originally we werent going to have a ceremony because I personally like to be there to support those I love but truly dont like going to them! I know, I know)
What are your thoughts ? We would still keep the time the same 545pm ceremony, cocktail hour starting at 6p.
