I need to get this out of the way - I'm a wedding photographer (
http://www.elev8studio.com) but I just got married a few weeks ago (June 26, 2011).. and I'm here to post pics from the photographer I chose (Jana Candler,
http://www.janacandlerphoto.com). I also want to let everyone know that my sister is a photographer as well (Carol Barnes,
http://www.Barefoot-Diva.com) but we didn't know until the last minute whether she'd be able to attend the wedding, plus I wanted her to be IN the pics, not just take them...:)
Anyway, I need everyone to know that we had originally planned this for October of this year, but since our venue fell through, we started looking at other possibilities... so we planned it and our honeymoon around our family's vacations, which brought up to June 26, 2011 (which was just THREE WEEKS AWAY!!!)...
Needless to say, we got it done, saved a TON of money, and still had a GORGEOUS wedding....take a look:

REVIEWS:
Florist & Event Decor: (my -other- sister) Micki Franks, http://www.fairytalefloral.com A+++++ fantastic job- very resourceful, attentive, detail oriented, and budget-friendly if you need it. She educates you on what's in season, available, what coordinates well with other flowers, etc.
Photographer: Jana Candler http://www.janacandlerphoto.com A++++ great job- she brought her photobooth (
http://the-social-light.com/) which gave us some AMAZING shots of guests & family! She did a great job of getting exactly what I needed in a short amount of time. The photos I received are gorgeous, and I love them (obviously)
Dress: http://www.carolinabrideandgroom A+++ great customer service, small, family-owned, and very helpful. I had 3 weeks to find a dress, mind you, and I had a very specific type in mind, and after only finding 2 dresses out of 5 dress shops, I stopped by this place, which is 5 minutes from my house, and they pulled a dress right off the rack and BAM, it was perfect!
Food & Cake: my mom A++++ We had teryaki chicken, roast beef, green beans, macaroni, seasoned roasted potatoes, and seasonal steamed veggies - all delicious! You'll see a pic of the cake she did as well - beautiful!
DJ: Blake Vaughn, http://www.jumpingjukeboxonline.com A+++ Blake and I have known each other for years and I knew he wouldn't disappoint! We were originally going to have
Benton Blount (check this guy out if yu haven't heard of him yet
http://www.facebook.com/bentonblount) play *our song* live, but because of the date change, Benton wasn't able to make it
However, Blake played the same song off the CD and it was still amazing:)
