Great Places For Engagement Photos

I'm looking to get my engagement photos done in Charleston.
I know some of the well know places I want to go like the Battery, Fountain, some beach, the bridge, etc etc  But does anyone have any suggestions of any cute places downtown..maybe some awesome door or iron fencing?
I"m open to suggestions!

Have you ever been to Boone Hall Plantation?  It's beautiful!  It has a long alley of oak trees, big plantation house.  Part of the movie The Notebook was filmed there.  It's gorgeous!

Also, the campus at CofC is beautful.  The cistern and Randolph hall would be nice.  There's a cool iron fence type thing just outside of the cistern on St. Phillip.  There's great arches at the science center too.  There's a beautiful fountain and the steps of the old library along "cougar mall".

I would agree, Boone Hall Plantation is GORGEOUS!!! they have beautiful gardens, the house itself and back of the house are breathtaking. They also grow their own produce but the whole place really just made me feel like I was in Gone With the Wind. Also they have a butterfly conservatory thats really cool.

We ended up going downtown and to Sullivans Island.. I really wanted to go to the Cistern when we did them but they were doing some construction for graduation.
