Beach Wedding...

FI and I are getting married on March 25, 2011. We are planning on getting married in Charleston. Have any of you ladies heard any bad reviews about A Charleston beach wedding company?

    I haven't heard anything bad about them. What beach are you getting married on? I know there are some restrictions on Sullivans Island and IOP unless you get married like at Wild Dunes. What are your plans so far?
    Are you looking to have the reception on the beach also?

    I want to married on Folly Beach. For my reception I thought about having a cookout at the beach house we are renting. Its going to be about 20 people. We are traveling from Nashville, Tn. We would love to find a beach front beach house and have our wedding on the beach near the beach house.

    I am actually doing something very similar.  Coming from Columbia, SC...renting a beach house on Folly..pretty much on the beach...having the ceremony on the beach in front of the house and the reception in the backyard of the beach house.  Didn't use a coordinator...just have done it all myself.

    We're planning to do the same thing, except our is going to be about 100 people so we're renting a beach house with a large yard and having the reception in a tent, so it has to be in Isl. of Palms. I haven't heard anything about that company, however Folly Beach is EXTREMELY popular and crowded! Prepare yourself to have a very public ceremony. I have already witnessed numerous weddings this summer, and have off only two sundays a month!

    I'm not havig any luck finding a beach house on Folly that will allow weddigs.

    I am wanting to go thru a Charleston Beach Wedding company as well. The prices seem fair and the people are very nice. I'm going to book ours by the end of the month. I have also found several beach houses that allow weddings.

    I think this is going to work out wonderfully, it just leaves all the reception planning to me but with ACBW my photography is already included so that just leave a caterer and music!
