My FH would like for us to write our vows... I'm very traditional and would like the traditional vows.  Any suggestions on how to incorporate both?

    He writes what he wantsfor his vows to you and you write what you want to say to him.  You both get what you want.

    There's really no reason that your vows have to be matchy-matchy.

    You can write your own and still repeat the traditional vows.

    Yes, you can do both.  Have the officiant announce, "The bride and groom have wriiten some words..." or something like that and then have the exchange of vows that should be repeated by the both of you.
